Subsidized Patient Care
Many people with cancer deal with the reality of a reduced income and increased expenses. Although integrative therapies can provide much-needed support for people living with cancer and the effects of cancer treatments, these services are not covered by provincial healthcare funding and, therefore, not accessible to many Canadians.
Patient Programming and Resource Materials
The CCNM Integrative Cancer Clinic regularly offers educational webinars and ongoing mind-body medicine programs, such as mindfulness and yoga classes. All our programs are available to our patients and anyone dealing with the effects of cancer.
Supporting Education Through Residencies
The CCNM Integrative Cancer Clinic offers one of only a handful of residency programs in Canada for naturopathic doctors, focusing on integrative cancer care.
Research
Research in the field of integrative oncology is needed to discover how best to use natural therapies to safely and effectively support people living with cancer. Your contribution helps fund our active research program, jointly run with CCNM’s Patterson Institute for Integrative Oncology Research, and other research partners. Together, we conduct clinical trials, observational studies, and synthesis research relating to complementary and integrative medicine for cancer.
