Join our weekly Gentle Yoga for Cancer Recovery online* class. Designed specifically for people who have, or have had cancer, this program is open to all abilities and is available, free of charge, to anyone dealing with the effects of cancer. Registered yoga therapist, Miriam Patterson, will teach participants restorative postures along with mindful breathing and meditation techniques, designed to promote strength, flexibility and relaxation.
*This class is gentle and interoceptive – you will be following your own body and because we are online, you will be ultimately responsible for the safety of your own movement. If you are joining for your first class, please sign on 5-10 minutes early so that our instructor can meet you to learn about any modifications or adjustments she may recommend for you to more safely participate in the class.
